(be sure to use your BACK button to return to our site) Named for the master Italian painter known for his dark style and dramatic images emerging from a pitch black canvas, our Caravaggio is truly a precious work of art. With his second foal crop on the ground in 2011, this young stallion is proving himself as a Renaissance man in the black straight Egyptian horse world, passing on his trademark length and shape of neck, and uncompromisingly beautiful head. More than just another exquisite face, Caravaggio PMA has superb legs, bold trot and a smoothness, refinement and balance of body that is highly sought after among black straight Egyptian horse breeders worldwide. Two of Caravaggio's progeny have been sold in-utero to buyers in the Middle East. Our Caravaggio hails from a non-Minstril pedigree that includes straight Egyptian legends such as Shaikh al Badi, Ruminaja Ali, and Prince Ibn Shaikh. His tail female line traces back to the famous mare of Abbas Pasha, Jellabiet Feysul. Visitors to our farm have given this rising star the call name of 'Cary Grant' due to his debonair demeanor and movie star good looks. His large, kind, luminous eyes speak to them and capture their hearts. Cary is destined to become one of the most exciting and profoundly influential stallions in the black straight Egyptian world. Caravaggio PMA has a lovely disposition and is handled by his female owner daily, even for breeding. We welcome your calls or email inquiries to discuss what Caravaggio can do for your deserving mares. Stud fee for 2012 is $1,500. Excellent quality shipped semen available. (be sure to use your BACK button to return to our site) Shadhem El Din arrived at his new home in Pennsylvania in December 2011. Poets Manor Arabians is thrilled to welcome this black gem to our farm. His pedigree features some of the purest and most sought after blood in Arabian horses. From research done from a former owner, we have learned that his sire, Aziza Al Dunn, is one of the very few Khrush horses in the straight Egyptian breeding pool. He is also one of the very few straight Egyptian horses that does not trace to the Babson blood. Shadhem El Din's dam is the mare *AK Shamma, an Antar granddaughter through her sire Saab. She carries two crosses to Alaa El Din on her dam's side. We are very excited to see what this incredible stallion will produce for us. With color being secondary to quality here at Poets Manor it is still exciting to see that this stallion has produced a high percentage of black progeny out of all colors of mares with 19 of 26 registered foals being black, and just as exciting is a son was sold to Qatar in the Middle East. Full body photos showing Shadhem's ultra short back, high tail set and smooth body are expected to be presented in the spring and will not disappoint even the most discriminating Arabian horse enthusiast. His quiet demeanor and self confidence is also sure to impress visitors! He is Asil, Pyramid Society and Al Khamsa. He carries no Babson or Minstril blood.
